Ravens S.O.A.R. with S.W.A.G. Freshmen Success Academy
Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians of the Class of 2019:
You are entering an exciting and important phase in your life—high school.  Much of your future success will depend on the efforts and choices you make starting now—both academically and socially.  To help you get your high school career off to the right start, you are invited to attend our First Annual Ravens S.O.A.R. with S.W.A.G. Freshmen Success Academy.
What: Ravens S.O.A.R. with S.W.A.G. is a freshmen success academy aimed at increasing student achievement and creating community among incoming ninth grade students.
Where: Braulio Alonso High School
When: August 10thth - 13th Time: 9:00am-12:30pm
Who: ALL incoming 9th grade students
Transportation: Bus transportation may be provided.  Stay tuned for further details!

mySPOT (Parent Registration)

The Five Star School Award was created by the Commissioner's Community Involvement Council and is presented annually to those schools that have shown evidence of exemplary community involvement. In order to earn Five Star school recognition, a school must show documentation that it has achieved 100% of the established criteria in the categories of: Business partnerships,
                        Family Involvement,
                        Student Community Service, and
                        School Advisory Councils.

Congratulations 10th graders!  FCAT Writes scores have arrived and Alonso High School was ranked 6th out of the 27 high schools in Hillsborough County.  Our scores placed us 6% over the state average and 4% over the district average. Job well done by all of the students and teachers who have worked so hard this year!
